It is strictly a maritime defense today. They cut back half the size of the army and practically mothballed the navy when they had to liquify the eastern part of the country back in. Ironic to say, they are not a third the size of France's military today.
How many air force basses are in California ? And when does someone find out where they will be stationed at?

What does the term "washout" mean? It was written on multiple days in a journal kept by a soldier during WWI. Must be a military term?
