yeah, technically it can be called tomb, but I would like to hear Taj palace or Taj Mahal. It sounds good to me.

well, I do not see authenticity of the link what you have provided, . Even If I try to believe on this, I am still not convinced what document says, because why would then Shanjahan says he got it built for his beloved wife, it becomes severe insult of his wife by himself, he would not do that at all.
second thing, mostly it would be quiet clear to know that pariticular famous palace, monuments etc.. are built by who, as the generation propogates it to the next generation saying this famous things was built like that for this and so on.
I do not have any proof that sharjahan did not get it built but it is almost impossible to spread news such as "Tajmahal is/was built by Shanjahn for his beloved wife after her death in here rememberence"
doesnt make sense much if it was not really built by him.
