At what age should you start shaving your legs?

    Whether or not to shave is definitely a personal decision and many choose not to shave at all. However, so long as a girl is responsible enough to shave without hurting herself I see no reason for her to wait past whatever time she starts feeling self-conscious about her legs. This would probably be earlier for those girls with darker hair, but it also depends on the type of clothing worn, personal interest, and the attitudes of peers.

    It might be useful to start with an electric razor if the girl is scared of knicking herself. Also, don't be surprised if she shaves frequently at first and then decides that it's not worth the time and trouble.
