American Heritage Dictionary - Cite This Source trin·i·ty (tr?n'?-t?) Pronunciation Key
    n. pl. trin·i·ties

A group consisting of three closely related members. Also called triunity.
Trinity Theology In most Christian faiths, the union of three divine persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, in one God. Also called Trine.

OK that is the definition of what trinity means. The word unless used in theology has a meaning of its own. Since the word means three and in translation of the many bible versions, it has been used to refer to The Father, The Son and THe Holy Ghost.

    • I think the question was WHERE in the BIBLE is the word trinity. The only old book that you will find the word trinity in is in the Catholic history books when they invented it at The Council of Nicaea and Constantinople. Many Catholics left the Roman church do to the worship of idols and receiving the Revelation of water baptisms and converted to Christianity but kept the Catholic trinity doctrine.
