What can I do to attract more visitors to my blog?

    Blogs get a lot of traffic when they accomplish one of two things. Either they touch on controversial subjects or they touch on popular subjects. If you're just writing about your life for example and your life isn't that interesting, you won't get tens of thousands of readers.

    I don't believe in gimmicks to attract readers. Readers may fall for this, but they won't stick around. What you want are readers that identify with you - they tend to stick around and slowly, that often attracts more readers. My advice is be yourself. Be honest. Because readers will take you to task if you're full of it.
