You're reading Japanese look like chinese, I'm sure they were chinese .How exactly and when was they seperated from China and formed their own country on an island ??. What was the reason they seperated?

i mean does the chinese first existed or the japanese ? . been reading some asian history alot, and found the chinese seemed like have come to existence very long time ago...so just provoking since never heard any of the japanese. It's like my personal asian history research ..Thanks anyway.

Chinese do predate the Japanese. The Japanese do have Chinese and a few other asian origins but they are far enough back that they have "evolved" into their own culture and own appearance (as similar to the others they may look). Such as with what happened with all cultures.
