actually the truth about cheaper shampoo products is that while they may be very similar, they also contain filler ingredients(plastics) which are bad for your scalp... they clog the follicles. my hairdresser told me this, and then she showed me the buildup by pulling out a strand of my hair... their was this white waxy stuff all around the follicle. i havent used equate since.

You're reading Does anyone use the cheap Equate brand found in walmart? They make medicine, moisturizer, shampoo, etc, and I look at the ingredients from other expensive brand name and Equate has the same ingredients as well, should I stick to it because it's cheaper?

it is true that cheap shampoo is cheap shampoo. So, if your buying the equate version of suave, then, suave, is also cheap and will leave waxy build up. So, do your self a favor and hit up a total beauty experience or a Sally's to get "cheap" professional hair products. In the mean time, equate, or any house brand is just as good as the store brand. Sometimes i think they work better!
