Does anyone know the origin of the phrase "just for shits and giggles?"

(vulgar) A vulgarized version of the phrase "kicks-and-giggles".

When a person gets amusement without a serious purpose,
he hangs his head, kicks the ground and giggles.
It is part of natural psyche of humans. No history for
it can be traced out.
