I purchased a vehicle in Oct 2007 for $20000 a 1998 toyota which was a private sale. Within 2 months the motor is stuffed and I need a new motor. Do I have any legal rights?

    nope. when you sell privatly you dont pay any tax or anything like that. i studied it in business studys and here you have no rights. it was sold as is. you could probably try and claim on it, or go to court... but it depends on the judge, best bet... and not very nice, but sell it now and get it off your hands
