Yes, a good many times when I was younger and had a Firebird. I found that on curvy roads such as the ones where I lived, horsepower didn't matter as much as sticking to the road. I won as many such races in an old '73 Maverick as I did in the Firebird on those roads. The Maverick of course would be left in the dust if the road was the least bit strait. -----o-o> (It's supposed to be a text car.)
