no i dont think the distributor and cap will fix that. could be a eacv (electronic air controle valve) if car runs with foot on gas its not ignition switch eather. that is a hard fix over internet. i would recomend you take it to the dealer. after market repair shop are bad about guessing. could spend a lot of money on uneeded repairs. you can try and adjust idle. hope you can see pic. screw out idle should come up. screw in idle will go down. thats the best i can does for you. hope this helps.

how to remove int. panel (front/driver) to get at lock. Can drum be fixed alone, or new only ? dont care if ignition same key

You're reading Have a '94 Honda Accord SE.... car starts but immediately shuts off. Have had several mechanics look at it, but no one can seem to find what's wrong. I need this car to get to work, please any input would be great. Thanks.
