Have to??? No, but are U doing this for "Performance"??? Do U know if this Engine was designed to utilize "Back
Pressure" or not??? If the "Air Flow" is increased by changing the "Pipes" & the Engine then needs a "Less Restrictive Filter" to do this, answer is Yes! The more Air Flow, the better the Engine Performance. But, not always in 2 Cycle Engines that need the "Back Pressure". John

You're reading I have a 2007 FXDL and I want to put new mufflers ( Vance & Hines Big Shots) Do I really have to change air filter and have the bike retuned for this application?
