I too am a lesbian, and my partner and I also share sex toys. There is no danger UNLESS one of you has a sexually transmitted disease. It is also possible to spread infection if one of you is sick, is currently going through your period, or has something along the lines of a yeast infection or some sort of vaginal infection. Otherwise, if you are both healthy, you will have no problem.

However, I'm not entirely clear on what you are doing. Are you using sex toys on each other during sex, and then immediately swapping them (I.E. you penetrate her with a dildo, and then immediately take that dildo and either lick/suck it or penetrate yourself with it)? Just like the above explanation, the same rules apply. We have both been doing this for almost 10 years, since we were in our mid-teens, and have never once had a single problem or contracted illness or disease. I highly recommend this practice during sex...it tends to heighten the pleasure and eroticism.

I should add that, if you use sex toys, and do not clean them afterwards, then that may cause problems. You should wash your toys when you are finished using them. Swapping them between each other is fine, but if you are done using them and then just put them away, the bacteria on them can become harmful over time. Toys should always be washed after use.
