On a scale of 1-10, do you think it is unwise to crash on people's sofas you sort of know, but have never met?

    I would say 9. I would be very careful, especially as a single female. Nothing sexist intended but you realistically have more risk from the type of people who would be a danger. Plan every stop carefully and make sure you are 100% certain about a stop before you put yourself in a stranger's hands. Just keep in mind that there are a lot of good people willing to lend you their couch and that would lead to a cheap, comfortable, enjoyable night but there are also a few bad people who are willing too and that would lead to something much worse. Just be careful.

    • ok! Just use your head and I am sure you will be fine. But if in doubt, find a cheap motel, it will be worth saving up a little safety money I would say.
