Besides medication, how can I ease the pain of a migraine?

    A good relaxation technique to reduce the pain of a migraine is to heat a wet towel in the microwave for about one minute or until it's exceptionally hot and holding it to the back of the neck, shoulders, or any other tense muscles that could trigger the migraine. A chiropracter told me about this technique to help my headaches. This can also be used in rotation with ice. It is referred to as hot/cold therapy and based of my experiece this really works!!
