Could someone that can play saxophone play clarinet easily? would learning clarinet help with saxophone?

    i ask because clarinets are much much cheaper than a saxamaphone. and i learned how to play a scale today on the sax and i'm hyped but not 300 dollars hyped. are there any especially good websites that would teach me how to care for a clarinet or sax?
