Is it true that Dragonball Z originally had 'R' rated content but that it was changed for American audiences?

    Well they are definately edited in America. The reason I cannot stand the English version is because they completely change the story. Turtle-sama is a A class pervert for example in the Japanese story and there is a lot of nudity etc. In the English... nothing.

    • Thats because in the U.S. "cartoons" are deemed for kids. So they edit it as so. they leave out the swearing, nudity, blood, etc. Its a shame, I would like to see the Japanese version on adult swim. Without them cutting out the dozen or more for the English version.
