Question

Help answer this question below.

In the UK you can apply to be on the council housing list. If you are a priority you will be given a property which is built and owned by the council. The amount of rent you have to pay depends on your income. Is there anything similar to this in the USA?

It is for people who have a low income, and can't afford housing on their salaries....hence housing and health care crisis in America.
