Help answer this question below.
First, I want you to know what you sometimes know, but may have forgotten - that you will not always feel so bad. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. You will have good days again.
Second, you are not a rotten person. Nor are you defined by this depression. It is not you; it is simply something that you are working through.
Third, please see a doctor and be evaluated for all the possible causes of depression. The treatment may be very simple and effective.
Fourth, please make sure you are getting good nutrition, adequate rest, and exercise even when you don't feel like it. Let the light in from outside your house and go outside.
Fifth, talk to someone about this who will not condemn you or give you easy answers: a counselor, a pastor, and wise friend, a support group, or all of the above.
I don't know if you believe in prayer or not, but I do and I am sure you believe in love and suport. So, I am going to stop everything right now and give you my love and support by praying for you.
All the best. Please keep us informed of your progress.
