It is NOT painful at all to slit your wrists, though it can get messy! I've slit my left wrist years ago, though not for suicide, only out of anger after being hit bad enough by some woman to make me have scars all on my face and arms. So I go into my bedroom and slit my wrist by the restroom area at the dresser. It's better to slit your wrist outside or in the tub where blood can't get on any carpet. It didn't hurt me at all, it actually made me laugh alot! Dark luck in suicide!
