You're reading If you could ask God one question, what would you ask?
Comments
EveryTHING, yes...but God is not a "thing." He created the world and everything in it, and essentially created 'beginnings' themselves. We choose to try to understand God, a divine being, with our human intellect...which is in itself limited in that knowledge...that is the mystery OF God...and that is called faith.

Michelle, are you God?
by Fisherofman on December 19th, 2006
Now what kind of comment is that?
by Michellek518 on December 19th, 2006
OK, everthing and everyone has a beginning. I do believe in God but what is his beginning? He couldn't always have just been there, could he?
by Anonymoose on December 20th, 2006
God has no beginning and has no end. Alpha and Omega, beginning and end. Amen.

The question was directed towards God. By answering the question you have elevated yourself to that position.
by Fisherofman on December 24th, 2006
Once she started commenting towards the people who were commenting, it was no longer between her and God..And I quote..Ahem.."Sexy_in_my_mind: OK, everthing and everyone has a beginning. I do believe in God but what is his beginning? He couldn't always have just been there, could he?".. Does that sound like that was literally directed towards God? Not to me it doesn't..
by Castrate on December 24th, 2006
Actually I was talking to Michelle...
by Fisherofman on December 24th, 2006
Oh really? Why? You had already told her that very same thing..Why are you repeating yourself? And I quote.."Fisherofman: Michelle, are you God?" and then once again, you're talking to the same person? I find this to be quite odd...But whatever, so long as you weren't talking to me.
by Castrate on December 25th, 2006
Okay, I'm not even certain as to why I am commenting back on this, but I feel that I have to redeem myself, or at least clarify. I apologize if what I said struck you the wrong way. I never make comments that mean to bring up arguments. I felt that my first response was not in answering the question, but simply 'commenting' about my feelings towards it, hence why I chose to press the 'comment' button and not an 'answer' button. I'm sorry, but sometimes people need to really stop taking things so literally. I do not mean to offend, and again i apologize if my words do just that. I respect your opinion, and I would in no possible way claim that I "elevate" myself to anything above God. Heaven forbid, I'd do no such thing! Quite honestly, I wouldn't want to be above God. I'm sure that he sees a whole lot of crap that would leave us all depressed.

the bible says A fool says to his heart there is no God.

Michelle518: I feel sorry for you. Who do you think give you the strength to go through the day and everyday situations. Who do you think give you the breath that you breathe everyday, everyminute and every second of your life. If it wasnt for God you will never exsist. Do not leave earth without God. Heaven is real so as hell. Do not be wise in your own eyes but be wise and make good choices while you have time, cos time is too short. God bless you mate.

Anonymous..Can you read? Do you have some kind of problem paying attention? Because Michelle518 obviously believes in God..Just read her comments..I think you just wanted to preach at somebody...How annoying...
by Castrate on December 26th, 2006
* man said everything has a beginning,(since we can not comprehend forever) THERE IS TO BEGINNING TO GOD JUST AS THERE IS NO END. we can not understand this, so we make up what we know !

Very touchy topic here.
Some people believe in "God" some people believe in a higher power and some people just dont believe at all. To each his own.
by plzd2mtu on January 27th, 2007
Lol @ castrate. Yeah ,i don't think that guy read michelle's comments at all.
Also she responded to me, so I responded to her. As most conversations go.

I think the concept of "everything has a beginning" Is not the one you are thinking about. I think what you were thinking about was the concept that "everything that BEGINS TO EXIST has a cause( or a beginning)". Since God did not begin to exist, he has no cause, he has just always been. He is infinite. I have never heard of the concept that everything has a beginning...
