You're right about being able to get around easier if you were deaf. But imagine how awful it would be to have even more people talking behind your back that you'd never know about!

but you wouldn't be able to hear the birds sing every morning, listen to the laughter of the people you care about...friends and loved ones, tune in to some old melodies that bring back fond memories...man, I would really miss my music!
