I got my tragus pierced a week ago,its was fine but yesterday it gotreally swollen and hurts alot but theres no pus is it infected?

14 year old had her tragus pierced 3 weeks ago and now has a large lump inside her upper lip at her nose. Could these two be connected?

a little at first and i couldn't wear headphones for a while but once it settled down, its ok.
