Why does Apollo have the same name to both the Greeks and Romans when every other god has had their name radically changed?

    This is, as you think, strange. Maybe the Romans planned not to change Apollo's name, the Ancient Greek and Roman languages were very different, but similar in some ways.

    • The Romans did not "plan" to "change" the gods' names. They simply adopted stories to gods they already had.
