Depending on what style of marching band you are in:

    Normal

Brass: Trumpets, Mellophones, Marching Baritones, Trombones, Sousas.

Woodwinds: Tenor Saxes, Saxes, Flutes, Piccolos, Clarinets, and Bass Clarinets

Bassoons, Oboes, Contrabass clarinets, and Bari-saxes don't march because it's very hard to play and march at the same time.

    in Drum Corps

Brass: Trumpets or Cornets, Flugelhorns sometimes, some use Herald Trumpets as well, Marching French Horns, Marching Euphoniums, or convertible concert euphoniums, convertible concert tubas, Trombones, and no woodwinds!

    Hope this helps!
