You're reading How do today's Jehovah's Witnesses feel about their 2nd president "Judge" Rutherford deeding the "House of the Princes" to King David, Gedeon, Barak, and others in the TIME article of March 31, 1930, California Cults?

It's not about making mistakes! I am imperfect, just as you are. The problem comes about when the WT claims Jesus' return and prophesied it so many times. It's not about mistakes, but the fact that the organization hasn't been around that long and has already had some doozey leaders! This "house" was deeded because it was prophesied by Rutherford! If not, why don't the leaders of the WT continue to do these crazy things in preparation for future events? There is a difference between mistakes and false prophesy and this is false prophesy.

I guess one would have to define crazy. To me, if a person deeds a house, and landscapes it, for bible characters... I don't know... I find it 'out there'. That's just me. Apparently few here see a problem or concern with that kind of thinking and those actions. One person's crazy is another person's sane. If it were biblical, like the scriptures had told us to prepare a place for these bible character's return somewhere in scripture... but there isn't. That's my concern. I just wondered how today's JW's felt about the ideas of their past leaders and do they still feel they need to prepare a place for these people? Or are those ideas not in place anymore? But... I only got attacked. Guess it's none of my business what they believe. There is a place where Jesus tells us that He goes to prepare a place for us. In My Fathers house are many mansions. If it were not so I would have told you. I hope that one of those rooms are mine! I haven't seen a scripture that says we're to prepare a place.
Blessings.
