Question

Help answer this question below.

I have notices from school almost each week saying my child has been exposed to another child with lice, is there a way to prevent my child from getting it? I wash their hair almost everyday and blow dry thoroughly.

Tell your child not to use anyone else's brush or comb, not to lend anyone theirs, not to wear anyone else's hat, or loan theirs to anyone. That's about it. Your child getting lice doesn't mean you are neglectful or dirty - it's pretty much par for the course if you send your child to school. As stated in the other answers - they are not that hard to treat - just be thorough.
