How do i repair a bleach stain in my carpet?

    i think bleach takes the colour out permanently out of things with no return. sorry.

    • There was a chemist in Houston years ago named Jim Smith and he was all ways telling me that a bleached out spot in carpet was only deoxidized and that if the oxigen was added back to the fibers the color would return, we always told him "ya ay thats ok in the lab but it never works on the carpet then one day I sprayed some bleach nuetralizer on a bleach spot in a high rise office in down town houston and the color came back like magic, It was a dark brown carpet with a bright yellow bleach spot in the executive suite so I think it may have been wool. I guess Jim was right.
      For me I now use carpet dye sticks to recolor stains in carpet.
