    • How about something with better MPG? It's kinder to the environment.

    • I just gave points. That seemed the environmentally merry thing to do.

    • I just went thru the whole list and noticed that -- as usual -- there are lots of COMMENTS from Jodie but no ANSWER. Hmmm... If I didn't know any better I'd think you're in the not-going-to-do-anything-that- might-get-rated mood. I for one am curious about what's on your Christmas list!

    • I think she's going to be a grinch and not really celebrate this year.

    • Does that mean you spoke to her about this or that you're answering for
her again? May I speak to Jodie now? Would it be OK if Jodie and SB
talked for a moment without Darkling feeling that she MUST edge in a
random thought? Or has Jodie designated you as her official spokespest?

    • Stableboy, I just saw this 12-18. You guys should tell me if I need to participate in the conversation, LOL. Darkling can speak for me, but she has no answers. Her plate's full anyway. I've always been like that. Christmas is really hard for some people. It's hard for me, if I'm forced to think about it. Not bubbling over with holiday cheer doesn't make me a grinch. Isn't it enough that I'm happy for everyone else? It's got zero to do with ratings. The few things I want are impossible to attain. Why dwell on it?

    • SB is not mad at Darkling. SB LIKES Darkling so much he can't hardly say it. Darkling sometimes has trouble hearing that in SB's comments because -- like so many boys -- he has to act mean so they won't think he's soft. All is well, Merry Christmas to all.

    • Sheesh! I have one episode and you never let me forget it!! I'll never live this down...

    • Nevermind about that, what's this business about Jodie having unfulfillable xmas wishes? (I'm speaking to *Darkling* now -- and nicely -- because I trust that source of information most among the sources currently on the thread, just for this one topic. I want to make absolutely sure there's no misreading of intent or mood here. I'm happy, and this is a happy comment)

    • Ok, just to clarify, I am her official SpokesPest. I'm like Spuds Mackenzie but I yap more. She thinks that because she doesn't have anyone to spend Christmas with, she should run off to Mexico so her ignorant self can think Feliz Navidad is some dude everyone keeps talking about. I say we tie her down and give her an eggnog enema. If that doesn't bring her some holiday cheer, I don't know what will!

    • I'm still grappling with the notion that J44 can't peg the boy of her dreams. I've seen her photo, she's very attractive, intelligent, caring, yadayadayada, etc. Maybe her standards are just too high? Surely she's aware that all men are schmucks, and all you get to choose is what they're schmucks ABOUT? Alas, though, it does sadden me. If anybody deserves company under the mistletoe it's Our Friend Flicka.

    • An eggnog enema, huh? Right. Just don't get it too hot, K? SB, don't grapple too long. If I could spend Christmas with you two, I'd swear Santa was real. That's all the present I need. SB, in my other comment, when I said "I've always been like that", I meant that I've never made Christmas lists. After my mother died, I just lost interest in Christmas and everything else. I've had plenty of great Christmases, though - plenty. No worries on that one, but thanks for being so sweet.

    • Ok, well I feel bad chaining all this onto bonbon20's answer. Sorry bonbon -- we'll buy you an SUV to make up for it! Just ask Jodie to cut you a check from all the money she's saving on Xmas...
