Does anyone have a good way to make a lot of money really fast? Nothing illegal. It can be a little squirrely or somewhat dishonest - I don't mind that. -or maybe some way to make a little money that I can do over and again.

• why? airline pilots are making less? I thought it was most highly paid and one of the most interesting jobs (erhh.. well anyway being a CEO is better).

• I agree it's one of the most interesting jobs. However, starting pay at many regional airlines is pitiful, especially considering the training required. Even major airline starting pay can be rather humiliating for new first officers. It does rise as seniority builds, but nowhere near as much as people believe. I wouldn't trade my job for anything in the world, but it doesn't take away from the financial hardships endured by pilots in their careers.

• I heard a senior pilot is paid around 5000K annually. So seems not that bad.

• The senior pilots normally get between 150-300K per year, provided they are on the largest widebody as a captain with 12 years of seniority. The pay is by the flight hour - running to the upper 150's per hour. However, that's a small margin, most of them are on the middle and low end, making 70-100 per hour, which seems like a lot. However, we are only paid when we are actually in the air, which can turn out to be considerably less hours than we are actually working.
