Any men or women ever gone to an "adult massage parlor" or used an "escort" service?

I did in my younger years (20's). I NEVER (honestly) had sex with any of the women. I had nude massages (she and I were nude) and I had massages where only I was nude. It was usually my choice, but not always. The escorts I had dinner with, talked with, watched TV with, and treated like dates (expensive dates!). I was curious at the time, not dating anyone, and afraid to do so. Not into rejection or committment. I learned alot about women, the differences in how women act and look, etc.

I was respectful of them and they treated me with respect as well. If they did not, I called their employer and asked for my money back. I only used the same 2-3 places, so they came to know and like me. They were used to truck drivers, drunk married men, and other men who expected or wanted only sex, or to men who did not treat them as anything but a whore, which in my experience with them, none of them were. When they could make $1000-2000. tax free CASH a week NOT "hooking," why would they want to?

Interestingly, some were college grads, and after awhile I asked for the same few women only. The women I "clicked" with, and with whom I had an intelligent and fun time. They also appreciated being treated as they would be if they were on a real date.

People have stereotyped and made fun of massage parlors and escorts for a long time. Alot of "value judgments" made by people who know nothing about them. Not unlike people who think many or all exotic dancers or strippers are "trash" or much beneath them in their morals and values. You'd be surprised to know how many strippers are putting kids through school or paying to raise their single parent families. And after their shift is over, they go home and are just like any other woman as far as housework, fixing food for their kids, etc.

Unless you have known these people, and been with the with the types of people I used, I guess that is natural. We are a very judgmental society. I never regretted any of it and was just lucky I could afford it at the time. It was $100-150. an hour, and in the 1970's that was alot. I usually had them stay with me for 2-3 hours, but a few of them who worked on their own, became friends with me and stayed much longer at no additional fee.

The only drawback to the nude massages was that the Baby Oil they used made my skin itch and break out over time, so eventually I got some organic type massage oil at a "head shop" (what they called them then) and it worked fine.

Wish I had kept a journal back then to be able to read now in my senior years...
