I find music to be less distracting when there are no words for you to comprehend. Songs that I know well and have listened to many times are also less distracting to me than new songs would be.

***Take note that these are just my personal experiences***( but I have talked to others and they agree with me about the above statements)

    • Its all on your individual preference i s'pose, i mean everybodies different. Like i cant study when musics playing atall, mainly because i listen to techno and end up shuffling instead of working. however i can sleep with the light on in my room and with the tv on and with my whole family running around and it doesnt even bother me in the slightest
