What does it mean to "Google" someone, and how do you do it?

    1) You must go on the homepage of the search engine Google. Here you can enter the name of that person in the input field. After this, you press the button "Google Search" and a list of results appears. These are the internet pages which contain the words entered.


    2) Homepage of Google:
    http://www.google.com/
    There are many other versions looking for results only in a particular language or country.
    For instance for Kenya:
    http://www.google.co.ke/


    3) If you want to get better results, you could try to put the parts of the name in quotes, for instance:
    "Karen Blixen"
    So it would not search just for the words, but for the exact string.


    4) On the result page, you can search again, get further results and consult the help page (Search Tips)
