Does the body build up a tolerance for marijuana?

    Technically no.

    Marijuana and LSD are the only drugs that you can't become physiologically dependent, and therefore you don't build up a tolerance for it.

    However you can be psychologically addicted to it, so that's why people THINK they do and use more of it and increase the times they use it.

    I know everyone's gonna downrate me and say this is a wrong answer, but I'm reading it straight out of one of my college textbooks, in a chapter on Psychoactive drugs.

    • I have been using Marijuana for about 7 years and I can tell you that I have grown a huge tolerance for it. Dont get me wrong I still get high but I know for a fact that others who do not smoke as much as I do get much higher. These peoples actions are slower and not as in tune as your daily pot smoker. Your book might be right and I am not saying that you are wrong but I do not agree with you at all. No hard feelings.
