Why do some American AB users criticise, mock and belittle the British? It happens on here far more often than the other way round.

If AB users really must harass other users, why don't they pick on the ones who are also guilty of harassment?

You're reading Is there any way to challenge a rating, particularly a negative rating when you did your best to be helpful and got dinged by an idiot/troll?

If your answers are reasonable, someone else will come along and rate you up. Just part of the game. Do your best and you advance. Overall, people seem disposed to give points more than punish. How about some points for your question?

True. When I see a question or answer rated down that should not be, then I am that much more likely to help rate it up.

Thanks for the kind words, im relatively new here and just trying to be helpful. I like helping people and helping someone learn something they didnt know, because knowledge is power, and maybe the world would be a better place if we all helped each other a little more. Is it wrong to want to help our species advance? Bah, im just being oversensitive I guess.

If you just want to help then that should be its own reward and don't be so concerned about a negative rating.

Indeed Geead7, your right. I wasnt really concerned about the rating itself more as I was miffed. It just irked me and I asked a question because I was curious. Im fairly new here and just wanted to know. That was the point of my question, not to start something.. And I appreciate all the kind answers and good advice from everyone.
