What are some strategies for making sure you're not noticed?

    Check enemies to see what walking patterns they have. You can then try to time your movement when they have their back turned or are in another part of the map.

    If you need to stop, find the darkest place possible. There's a reason you have a light/dark meter. The lighter the area you try to hide in, the more you're exposed and the easier the enemy can see you.

    Noises also alert enemies to your presence. Try to use the crouch and walk at all times. You don't make any noise when you move about this way, but it's slower than running.

    If you need to open a door, use your scope that slips under the door. You can then swivel it left and right to check for anyone. When you do open the door, use the Stealth mode just in case someone happens to walk around the corner and you didn't see them in your door-scope.
