Some states are seriously considering seceding from the USA,and legally are able to.Would their new status be considered a newly formed country?

    as far as i know, texas is the only state that could do this without any trouble. i think they would be considered their own country, but am not 100% sure.

    • Texas, before becoming a state, was a already a country, but we cannot legally secede. No state can. Yes, there is a fringe movement which want to secede, but they are mostly considered a joke. Nice new pic btw : )

    • The 10th amendment to the constitution allows any state to make a decision to secede.

    • oh ya arizona passed a law that said if the president or congress or any other form of law passes martial law arizona and about 34 other states will saseede
