How do I find out what scholarships my child might be eligible for?

    If you make $50K +/yr, when the child is 16 - quit claiming him/her on your tax return. He/She will then be eligable for a low income Pell grant as an independant student. make sure they don't have traceable assets on turning 18.

    • They aren't considered independant unless married, emancipated, or over 25 as far as I know.
