I haven't, but most of the hoodia pills that are being sold are not the variety (hoodia gordonii) that has been researched. Pfizer isolated the component and has since released the rights to the primary ingredient. Hoodia gordonii is a "protected plant" (only a few people have access to it).
There are nasty side effects and it's far from FDA approval. I'd avoid it.
