    I haven't gone to church for a year on Jan 1st. The pastor was counting down for the new year, and began to pray at Midnight. This was my first New Years' with my wife. (We married Nov) So I lean over and WHISPERED I love you in her ear. The pastor must have seen this because he stopped and in front of the whole congregation told HER (not me) to maintain composure. I again leaned over to my wife and asked her (this time at reg. volume) "do you want to get out of here?" in her embarassment she said yes. So I stood up (we were towards the front) and walked out. Everyone was looking at us. Needless to say that my mother-in-law, and the rest of her family followed suit.

    Now not to say I'm no longer Christian. I just haven't gone to another church yet. Still looking.

    BTW: Do you think that was wrong of me?
