    Time heals all wounds. If, this was a long term relationship it will take more time.You are not alone, if that gives you any comfort, I am going through the same thing. The best way, I have found in these times, is to keep busy in what you are doing - work ,study, concentrate on bettering yourself- exercise - do not dwell on would have - should have and just let go of the down thoughts and think positive that you are worthy of love.

    • This was by far the best advice - it is so true. you can't pretend like you'll ever forget the person so why not learn from them and figure out what did they mean to you on your path called 'life' just as you meant something to them in their journey. it's painful and you start to ask yourself 'have i been wrong this whole time? i'm not as special as i thought i was' and that's ok - that's how i feel right now but reading this advice does help put a bandaid.
