"God works in mysterious ways." Ok just kidding. First off you must consider what it was you were praying for. Maybe the answer you wanted would have a butterfly effect and turn out worse that it has.

God may never explain why he does what he does, sometimes even after hours of prayer. You are not the only one that has felt ignored or that God isn't concerned enough to help you.
So what's the explanation to this lack of divine intervention and communication in times that seem to require them the most?
Perhaps you did not hear God's whisper to your heart, since you may have been expecting a loud and clear answer. On the other hand, maybe you did not believe what you heard was God's voice because you were expecting or hoping for Him to say something different.

    • i LOVE this answer...listen to the voice of God and what His will is..don't listen only for what you want Him to say and get mad when He doesn't say it, but listen to that small still voice that tells you "this way"...God's way of thinking is not like the way we think. His thoughts of us are good and not evil and for us to prosper, not fail....
