Alatea has a handle on this one, and is right on the money. The only thing that may have been overlooked is the fact that the process of evacuation is by far one of the most nasty acts one can perform. hooking up a flex-pipe to the release valve to the hold, and then feeding the other end down a pipe coming up from the ground that emits such a putrid odor from the agitated wastes being pumped down into all that rotting below. Even with chemicals, the stench is horrid, not to mention that one has to handle that now wet and multi used coated flex-pipe to place it back into it's stow.

I live in my Toyota Dolphin, and travel through-out the country. The only thing I use my bathroom for is showering, washing up, and for storage, in that if I have to go, I’ll do it where one can use another's doodle bowl, pew! PEACE!

    • Brings to mind the scene in the movie RV with Robin Williams attempting to learn how to dump his holding tank at an RV park and it explodes as if it were a brown version of old faithful.
