Since it's a widely accepted Biblical teaching that the Jews are "God's Chosen People", why don't more of the fundamentalist Christians who adhere to that belief convert to Judaism themselves? Doesn't the term "Chosen" imply that Judaim has it "Right"?

Because many christians see themselves as evolved Jewish people, they follow the "greatest Jewish man who ever lived"... Jesus.

    Christianity has jewish origins.

    • Hmm... I guess that makes sense enough +6.
But I wonder, if you asked a Jew who was well-informed about their religion and it's history, what *Their* perspective would be on that?

    • They would disagree because they did not and still do not accept Jesus as a messenger from God. If they did not disagree with us on this, then they would be Christians.

    • Would you care to clarify a little, Snooch? Because you don't seem to be making a great deal of sense yourself.

    • Why would you call a Jewish man by a Greek name such as J-sus? His name is Yahshua the family name of his family line that means Yahweh saves. And if Christians truly felt like evolved Jewish people they would make their faith their lives not a hobby they do every Sunday when the end of the week is clearly Saturday. They would also get rid of every pagan adopted celebration [holidays] and replace them with the only HOLYdays in the bible expressed for celebration. Not to mention actually reading the word for themselves and applying it to their lives while they still have time. But I will agree with you that Yahshua the Messiah is the greatest man alive today. He is very much alive.
