Why do people always say "Not Much" (nm) when people ask them "Sup?" Why not something else?

    the same reason you say "good" or "fine" when someone asks "how ya doin"
    besides, i doubt the person saying "sup" intends to elicit a long drawn out response from you if all you got was a "hey" or a "sup"
