I don't think the school needs to tell the parents about their child's obesity. We are seeing more and more news segments about overweight children. Parents know if their child/children are obese. If they choose to ignore it, it is sad, but it is their business.

    • A study done in my area showed something like 57% of kids being overweight and close to only 20% of parents that say they have an overweight child.
