I am a past resident of for real hell hole of a neighborhood and have always been afraid of fire arms. Unfortunatly I feel that we should be responsible so that we can protect our families in more ways than one. I was stationed in England almost thirty years ago and was completely bowled over that they seemed to have a aversion to bearing arms. I do not own one now but, what good is it that I am thinking about not wanting to harm my fellow man if some big prison reject is climbing through my back door ready to shoot me with his sawed off shotgun?

    • Thanks for answering. My main point is that kids should know what to do if they are faced with a situation where someone has a gun laying around or if their friend knows it's in daddy's sock drawer and wants to play show and tell. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I just saw your answer today!
