If anybody knows 'God' is a title just like 'king' and 'president' are, why would you say "God is God's name"?

You're reading Why does Jehovah say that besides me there is no savior in Isa 43:11, yet the Bible says Jesus is our Savior?

Then I guess that's where you would use the context of the message to tell the difference. So I ask another question; do you think that the context of the Bible agrees with you answer?

Your friend saved you physically (not spiritually) from harm that might cause you death. God is the only one that can save you spiritually after your physical death! Don't confuse the two.

V, you ask a valid question. Yes, the context agrees with the answer.
I'm sure you've read John 3:16. It tells us that God send his son to save faithful humans. It is no stretch to say that Jesus is a sub-savior (yes, my invented word)working for the Savior-in-Chief, Jehovah.
Examples of creatures sharing certain titles with Jehovah (including savior, god, lord, shephard, king) in the Scriptures are countless.

Whatever happened to ViceGrip? I always enjoyed his narrow, bigoted approach to religion. His insults and wild generalizations provided a great platform for contrasting truth and error. Has he gone the way of Onthenarrowroad, sinnersaved and the others of like ilk?
Why do they disappear just when the discussion gets to the heart of matters? Could it be that their opinions don't stand up to scrutiny? All the good back-and-forth dries up when we start sticking to fact. Oh, well...

I wouldn't look into it too much. Some strongholds are best left un-overturned.

True, scodey. These strongholds are not so strong anyway. They really only exist in the minds of their holders.
The truth is speaking for itself. We can move on to bigger things.
