• Yes, and the Bible also teaches us that God holds His Word above HIS OWN NAME. That's very serious, because God's Name is very serious. There is no name greater than the Name of Jesus Christ(see Philippians 2:9-10). Do you think that if God holds His Word above His own precious Name that is above every name, He would let His holy Word be lost and imperfected, never to be known by us what it originally said or what it truly says?

• Once again, you're citing the Bible as proof. i.e. "The Bible is true because the Bible says so!" The Bible is quite clearly NOT the undiluted, unquestionable word of God. If it was, we wouldn't be here having this conversation, would we?

• Yes, because of mankind's sinful pride and ubelief to accept the God Who gave him life and to admit that he himself(man) is a hell-deserving sinner in need of a Saviour(the Lord Jesus Christ--God come in the flesh).

  Even God's word is not above the corruption and exploitation of Man. You're a fool to believe unquestioningly anything Man tells you.
