You're reading I am trying to find a book or other reference to pagan practices in Ireland and Scotland prior to the arrival of Christianity. What I've found deals with the Druids, I want to know how the common man worshipped the gods, goddesses and nature.

Sadly very little is known on this topic, the natives were not the greatest record keepers and the Romans may well have destroyed anything that they found to be heretical. UK folklore and tradition may point to hints of practice though.

Buckland made up his "information". If you want to find out how pagans practiced prior to the arrival of Christians read history books. You might want to read Miranda Green, Ronald Hutton, Nigel Pennick, etc.. There is a great deal of information about Celtic polytheism. Do not believe anything in books published by Llewellyn Publishing.
